Mindfulness Colouring Pages

Practicing mindfulness involves focussing on the present and includes mind and body activities such as meditation, attitude shifts, ways of thinking, breathing exercises, yoga, gratitude, nature walks, colouring, art, dance, and music, and showing kindness to others and animals; these are all beneficial for our health and wellbeing including that of our children.

Mindful colouring can support your tamariki to reduce anxiety and stress by taking their mind off their worries and focussing on the present. They can be a great early finisher activity, a wind down, or an optional activity available for children when they feel they need something quiet. Colouring pages also have the added benefit of self-expression in a low-pressure task.

In these bundles developed by Twinkl we have beautiful and detailed colouring including Mandala style circles, bubble patterns and the word “mindfulness” spelled out with intricate colouring inside the letters to create a classroom display. These colouring pages would be suitable for children aged 5 to 13 (although we are sure even teens and adults would enjoy them too!).
