Mindfulness Stories

Mindfulness, or focussing on the present, is a great habit for children to start practising at an early age. These mindfulness stories are designed to be read to your tamariki or class during wind down times, a mindfulness moment, or to refocus when children are under pressure.

If you have space in your class children can lie on the floor to listen. Children use their imagination to visualise, breathe and focus on the stories which have great analogies for dealing with life’s challenges. The stories are suitable for children aged 5 – 10.
