Mindful Moment Challenge Cards
Practicing mindfulness involves focusing on the present and includes mind and body activities. Developing mindfulness habits from an early age helps children process and cope with their busy lives and the challenges that children face growing up and moving into adulthood.
These challenge cards give young children a range of different mindfulness experiences such as mindful listening, breathing, eating, gratitude and visualisation.
Some of the experiences will need teacher or whānau guidance but with support can become independent activities. They are suitable for children aged 4 – 8.
