Children of the World Stories

Within these cards you will find examples of young people from around the world who are truly making a mark on their community. They have big plans for how they want to stamp their mark on the world. Whether they are teaching classes in their local school or dreaming of becoming health workers, these young people are determined to change the world in some way.

In the classroom these cards can be used as reading or writing prompts for social studies units looking at culture and diversity, global issues, activism and community. They also are great prompts for conversations around rights and equality, gratitude and opportunity.
