Fairness Value Line

Being included at school is a right for every child, and simple modifications and adaptations to school life are what enables this. However sometimes the idea that we should treat everyone exactly the same, can confuse students when considering fairness and equity.

Establishing an inclusive classroom culture needs everyone on-board, and that includes your students. By placing a range of relatable scenarios on a value line, students think more critically about the concept of fairness. We have provided a range of options to suit the learning style of your class. Combined with our “band-aid” lesson, this is a great activity for establishing an inclusive and compassionate classroom culture.
