Generation Hope at Aotearoa Youth COP 2025
Generation Hope NZ is Save the Children New Zealand’s flagship youth programme, designed by and for young people who want to create a better future for all tamariki and rangatahi.
In a world facing urgent challenges, from climate change and inequality to youth mental health and poverty, Generation Hope empowers young people across Aotearoa New Zealand to raise their voices, lead with purpose, and drive real, lasting change in their communities and beyond.
Each year, we welcome a new cohort of passionate young leaders into the Generation Hope Youth Rōpū, a collective of youth advocates who bring bold ideas, lived experience, and cultural strength to some of the most pressing issues of our time. Through leadership development, public advocacy, and direct engagement with decision-makers, our Ambassadors are not just part of the conversation, they’re helping shape it.
Whether it's speaking at national events like Youth COP, meeting with MPs, contributing to national climate policy, or raising awareness of children's rights, Generation Hope is where youth voices are amplified and action begins.
