Issues and Concerns
We take pride in the work that we do in the local community and overseas—wherever we are, children and families are at the heart of what we do. But we understand that from time to time you may want to talk with us about our work and we welcome feedback from the public.
If you would like to report an issue or raise a complaint, there are a few ways you can do so:
- You can raise your complaints with our friendly support team by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling us on 0800 167 168
- If you have a complaint concerning the inappropriate behaviour of anyone associated with Save the Children relating to another person – whether that be in relation to the safety of children, harassment of children or adults, or any other circumstance where Save the Children staff, volunteers or partners are concerned – please contact our Safeguarding Focal Point on email@example.com or call us on 0800 167 168. Where this issue is sensitive, we have policies to ensure the matter is dealt with appropriately and in confidence. Our Child Safeguarding Policy is here. And our Whistleblowing Policy is here.
- Save the Children is also a member of the Council for International Development (CID) and is a signatory to the CID Code of Conduct. The Code requires members to meet high standards of corporate governance, public accountability and financial management. If you feel we might have breached this code, you can contact the CID Code of Conduct Committee. More information about the CID Code of Conduct can be obtained from ChildFund New Zealand and from CID at www.cid.org.nz and firstname.lastname@example.org
