Mindfulness for Lower Primary

Practising paying attention to the present moment in an accepting and non-judgemental way, or mindfulness, is a habit that can be started early in life, offering children some relief and strategies for coping with pressure, frustration and worries.

In these bundles of activities for children aged 5 - 9, you will find a range of fun and engaging resources and classroom displays to support children begin or continue their mindfulness journey. Activities include gratitude handprint trees, a class gratitude quilt, animal yoga, mindfulness colouring and an informative mindfulness powerpoint.
