Save the Children campaigners
Save the Children New Zealand makes door-to-door visits through two contracted professional companies, Cornucopia and Support Direct. Cornucopia works for us in the South Island and APPCO in the North Island.
The campaigners invite people to sign up to become regular Save the Children donors – they do not accept direct donations.
The campaigners work:
- Monday to Friday
- from 12 noon - 8pm
- across New Zealand
- throughout the year
For easy recognition, all campaigners wear a bright red Save the Children tee shirt or jacket, depending on the weather, as well as an identity name badge with their individual photo.
This week, 30 August - 3 September, our campaigners are visiting residential homes in Canterbury and Auckland
Canturbury districts are: Addington, Ashburton, Broomfield, Halswell, Hei Hei, Hoon Hay, Hornby, Islington, Kaipoi, Middleton Oaklands, Prebbleton, Rangiora, Rolleston, Russley, Spreydon, Sockburn, Somerfield, Templeton, Westlake.
Auckland areas are: Arch Hill/Eden Terrace, Glenfield, Howick, Pukekohe
